INEOS Improves PIB Capability at Whiting
League City, TX - INEOS Oligomers has announced a planned investment of $4.5 million for the Whiting polybutene plant that will improve its capability to meet the demands of INEOS Oligomers’ customers. The planned logistics modifications will enable the plant to supplement on-site sources of raw material supply to further optimize utilization of existing production assets.
Construction and installation of the material handling systems is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2007. The modifications to the facility are indicative of the continuing commitment of INEOS Oligomers to its customers, the polybutene market and the Whiting plant.
