INEOS Oligomers Expand Feluy

INEOS Oligomers awards contract for expansion of European PAO capacity.

INEOS Oligomers today announced that it has awarded a contract to Foster and Wheeler for the engineering, procurement and construction of the previously announced PAO expansion at its Feluy production site (Belgium). The additional capacity from the new process line will increase capacity significantly closer to the target of over 50 thousand metric tons per year of PAO by 2010.

INEOS is a global petrochemical company with annual sales approaching $45 billion US. The INEOS Oligomers division makes and sells PAO, Linear Alpha Olefins (LAO), Polyisobutylene (PIB), Diisobutylene (DIB) and other specialty C4 and C5 olefin based products. The business currently has PAO manufacturing facilities in LaPorte, TX and Feluy, Belgium.
