The La Porte PAO plant consists of two production trains. The first train was completed in 1983 with a second train added in 1989 to increase overall capacity. The PAO manufacturing process is divided into four operations: reaction, quench and wash, hydrogenation, and product separation, which result in the production of a range of PAO grades.
The primary mission of the Polyalpha olefins Unit is to manufacture high quality base stocks for synthetic lubricants in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. Also, product quality is closely monitored with the objective to supply top quality products that meet specifications 100% of the time.
To realize safety, health and envirnomental (SHE) and product quality objectives and commitments, the La Porte PAO plant has established a system, to include policies, processes, procedures and controls, which complies with the ISO 9001 International Standard for quality management systems and the ISO 14001 American National Standard for environmental management systems.
The Innovene team at the La Porte plant is committed to providing a safe and environmentally sound atmosphere for employees and neighbors, while manufacturing competitively priced, high quality products for our customers.
