Standards
- INEOS Oligomers is committed to providing a working environment in which Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) is incorporated at all levels of the business.
- SHE standards form part of a formal management system based on ISRS (International Safety Rating System) to manage Safety, Health Environment and Engineering. The standards are aimed at minimizing the risk to people and the environment and also cover the development, marketing, supply and use of INEOS Oligomers products.
- The standards apply internationally but are supported by instructions at a local level. The local instructions allow for working practices to be established taking account of specific hazards and any variations in legal requirements that may exist between countries.
- Continuous improvement in SHE is very important to the Company. We have included a number of standards to support this belief. These include SHE improvement plans, performance targets and formal mechanisms for the reporting, investigation and communication of best practice.
- People are key to the success of INEOS Oligomers. SHE Standards ensure all employees receive appropriate training, thereby allowing them to effectively contribute to the SHE improvement process as well as understanding the importance of their own behavior.
- SHE standards and local site instructions are subject to regular review via a comprehensive auditing program.
