Established near Köln in Worringen, Germany, since 1957, the INEOS site employs in total 1,900 people and is a key raw materials supplier to the chemical industry.
The main base product is naphta, a by-product from oil refineries, which INEOS uses to manufacture more than 4 million tons of raw matrials, including ethylene (1,100,000 tons), polyethylene (530,000 tons), ethylene oxide (250,000 tons) and butadiene (250,000 tons).
The INEOS Köln site hosts 6 different INEOS Businesses, including INEOS Oligomers for its production of Isoolefins, Isoparaffins and Specialties.
