Triisobutylene
Triisobutylene (triisobutene) is a mixture of highly branched C12 isoolefins.
It is used as a chemical intermediate in the production of tert- dodecylmercaptan - an auxiliary in polymer chemistry - and tridecyl alcohol/acid (plasticisers and solvent components).
