The INEOS polybutene business is a leading global merchant supplier of polybutenes and since September 2001 has offered its globally aligned portfolio of polybutene products under the Indopol® brand.
There are INEOS polybutene manufacturing units at Lavéra, France and Whiting, Indiana, USA which benefit from integrated feedstock supply. Further information is contained within the ‘Where we operate' section.
Indopol polybutenes are synthetic hydrocarbon polymers made by the polymerization of C4 olefins and are available in a wide range of viscosities. They are used in many varied applications. For polybutene product and applications information please see ‘Products and Services' or ‘Applications'.
